Medusa HQPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what information Ads Command Center (“the App”, “we”) accesses and stores, why, and how you can have it deleted or revoke access. The App is operated by SVG Sales (Medusa HQ), the Netherlands. It is an internal advertising management tool used by SVG Sales to manage advertising accounts it owns or is authorized to manage; it is not a public consumer service.
What the App does
The App connects to the Meta Marketing API to create and manage advertising campaigns, ad sets and ads, upload ad creatives, and report on advertising performance. It only acts on Meta accounts after a user has authorized it through Meta and granted the requested permissions.
Information we access and store
With your authorization, the App accesses the following through Meta’s APIs:
- Your Meta profile basics: your Meta user ID and name, used to show which account is connected.
- Advertising assets: the ad accounts, Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and Business Manager assets you have access to.
- Campaign data: campaign, ad set, ad and creative settings, names and delivery statuses, and the change history of your ad accounts.
- Performance metrics: aggregated advertising results such as spend, impressions, reach, clicks and conversions, including aggregated breakdowns by country, age, gender and placement.
- Your Meta access token: needed to make API requests on your behalf.
The App also stores content you provide yourself: images, videos, ad copy, URLs, drafts and settings. If you choose to connect other services to the App, it stores the aggregated statistics it retrieves from them.
The App does not request or store information from Meta that identifies the individual people who see or interact with your ads.
How we use the information
- To create, edit, pause and launch campaigns, ad sets and ads when you ask the App to.
- To show campaign structures, statuses and performance reports.
- To run alerts and analyses you set up.
We do not use this information for any other purpose. We process it because you authorized the App through Meta, and to manage the advertising accounts the App is used for.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a database on the computer operated by SVG Sales that runs the App. Meta access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never displayed in the App. Access to the App requires signing in with a password.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties. Information is sent only:
- to Meta, to carry out the actions you request through the Meta Marketing API;
- to other services you have chosen to connect, only as needed to retrieve data from them;
- where required by law.
Retention
Information is kept for as long as the App is used to manage the related advertising accounts, or until you ask for it to be deleted. Disconnecting Meta in the App deletes the stored access token immediately.
Revoking access and deleting your data
You can revoke the App’s access to your Meta data at any time, and ask us to delete the data the App holds. We confirm deletion by email within 30 days. See Data deletion instructions for the exact steps.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
